The Lava Monsters (also known as Magma Monsters) are a species of fiery creatures born from fire and magma. They are summoned by Jestro via the Book of Monsters.

After Monstrox's second defeat, they reformed and vowed to never fight again. They currently live in Burningham, a town founded by Magmar, who became their mayor.

History

The Lava Monsters serve as the army of Jestro and the Book of Monsters.

Appearance

Most lava monsters have fiery red skin, though a few have molten black skin while others have orange or yellow skin. Some monsters are made of molten lava yet others are made of rock. All of them have yellow eyes.

Trivia

• The mobile game featured some exclusive Lava Monsters, such as the Fire Scorpion, Lava Beetle, Magma Clapper, and Storm Eye.
• When asked if female Lava Monsters other than Lavaria and Whiparella existed, Tommy Andreasen didn't give a direct answer, but noted that the monsters the audience saw was likely only a fraction of what the Book of Monsters held.
• According to Tommy Andreasen, had seasons 5 and 6 been released, Lava Monsters would've likely teamed up with Nexo Knights against Monstrox in the last few episodes.
