“I am Jorah Tightwad, and my knights, the Tighty Knighties, are more amazing. After all, how many magical books have your Nexo Knights recovered? None, zilch, zero!” |
— Jorah to King Halbert in "The King's Tournament" |
Lord Jorah Tightwad is an arrogant rich man whose goal in life is to make as much money as possible by spending as little money as possible. To do this, he comes up with several underhanded schemes, most of which involve the Tighty Knighties, a band that he sponsors.
History[]
Prior to the series[]
Tightwad studied at the Knights' Academy, where he was famous for finishing the leftovers of other students' plates.[1] He eventually became a rich businessman and began to sponsor the Tighty Knighties, acting as their boss.
The Knight's Code[]
Jorah Tightwad is among the potential investors on King Halbert's tour across the kingdom. At one point, his group was ambushed by Jestro and his monsters. Although the Nexo Knights managed to defeat the monsters, Jorah expressed disappointment over the threats to his potential gold factory. Macy noted that gold was mined from the ground and not made in factories, questioning how Tightwad's facilities really got their gold.
The King's Tournament[]
At the tournament, where the Nexo Knights competed against the Tighty Knighties, Jorah demanded a kiss from Macy as a reward for the Knighties' victory. King Halbert agreed reluctantly, but Macy, in turn, demanded that Jorah would kiss Lance's "sweetheart" if the Knights won. Assuming that Lance's "sweetheart" is the Princess, Tightwad agreed. However, when the king declared Nexo Knights as the winning team, it turned out that Jorah actually had to kiss Lance's pet pig Hamletta, to the former's disgust.
Rotten Luck[]
He is briefly seen when Monstrox and Jestro rotted his food away.
Knight at the Museum[]
He is seen escaping the Artingham Repository of Treasure and Sculpture after Monstrox brings the sculptures to life. He also was seen at the end, outside of the museum.
