Designer's notes
It's a castle, with a spaceship on top and a space buggy in the courtyard. Not much else to add. I designed it from first sketch model through to the final design, slightly based on the Knighton Castle seen in the Nexo-Knights TV show.
As I finished this set my friend and retired LEGO Designer Daniel Krentz passed away. The tower/spaceship has his initials and the number of his most famous set (the 375 yellow castle) on the sticker. Also the banners above the gate are based on the yellow castle and the crown on the living statue figure are from 375.
He was one of the nicest, kindest and best people I have ever known, and without him LEGO castles would be very different, this one included. Raise your glass to Daniel Krentz sometime, he was a good man and a great LEGO Designer.[2]
Trivia
- It is the largest and most expensive set of the Nexo Knights franchise.
- Mechlok and the Rumble Rocket first appeared in "The Fall."
- King Halbert's king robes, Haute FancyPants, Hamletta and the white stone statue are exclusive to this set.
